the Gift. He can light camp fires and candles and summon small fire balls ect.

Father: Baron Edward of Anjou, age 60. He is a staunch conservative, does not care for King Jonathan and Queen Thayet’s
more progressive policies, because of this he stays on his lands and does not come to court.
Mother:
Lady Eleanor of Anjou, age 51. Eleanor, like Edward a staunch conservative, and she also dose not come to court often.
Sister:
Elizabeth “Liza” of Anjou, age 17, engaged to
Garth of Winterfell, very close to Richard, they are the closest of all the siblings
Brother: Edward of Anjou, age 33, Richards’s
older brother, whom he doesn’t particularly like. Ricky feels that Edward
is a pompous ass and not worthy of being called a noble.
Other siblings: John, age 30, Healer; Charles, age 27, Mithos’ priest; William,
age 24, King’s Own. There are also three daughters, Catherine, Anne, and
Eleanor who died in childhood.

Richard has the standard looks for this family. He is quite tall, about six feet
four inches, and has a well muscled body due to his job. He has black hair that
is cropped short and fathomless black eyes.
Clothing:
Presently dressed in black breeches and a black tunic, very plain but obviously well made
Personality: Richard is
a very happy person. He has a very laid back easy going personality. It takes a lot to get him angry but when he does stand back and watch the explosion. He isn’t what a person could call a “normal noble man” he is very progressive in his
views. It doesn’t shock him at all to see a woman wearing breeches or to
fight in fact. He has seen the Lioness in action since he is in the Kings Own
and she travels with Lord Raoul. He loves his family, well all but his brother
Edward and his father.
Strengths: Richard is a very physically
fit person due to his job. He knows a matter of weapons and can use them all
well. He can track and scout in the forests and other terrain. His gift is strength
because he will never be without a fire.
Weaknesses: His weakness is
his kindness. He always will come to the rescue of a damsel in distress, which
could get him into sticky situations, by sticking his nose in other peoples business.
History: Most of his history can be found in the above profile. Richard is the youngest boy and second youngest child of Baron and Lady of Anjou. He lived at home until the age of 17, when he left for the capital to serve in the Kings Own. He trained with the captain of the guard at his family’s fief for several years before joining the
Kings Own. He spent much of his time out doors and especially with the Stable
Master. Richard loves horsed and dreams to own his own stable some day, even
if it is not a “noble” profession. He hopes he might convince his
father to give him the money to start one in the capitol to sell horsed to the nobles and wealthy merchants as an extension
of the fief.
What is your character most ashamed of? He
is most ashamed of when he was 13 he saw a girl killed by a hurrok. He feels
ashamed because he did nothing to save her, even though he had been trained with a spear.
He decided right then that he was going to save people, and did that by joining the Kings Own since he felt he was
too old to start training for knighthood.
Another thing that Richard is ashamed of is when he
was 17 and on his way to Corus to join the Own he stopped by the convent to visit Liza. They went riding and Liza was
riding his horse Starfire, astride, because her horse Tippy wasn't trained to be ridden astride only sidesaddle because she
is a "ladies horse". Well when Liza was riding Starfire the gelding spooked and was too big for the 11 year old Liza
to properly handle. Liza was thrown and she brokd her leg badly causing a permanent disability. To this day Richard
feels guilty about this, he feels that he shouldn't have been teaching Liza to ride astride and he should have known better
since he is older and all that nonsence. He has gotten over most of the guilt, he no longer winces when he sees Liza
walk with her limp and has burried most of the guilt deep down inside.
What makes your character unique? His
unique views on what is proper and what isn’t make him unique. He is a
very progressive thinker.
Why is your character coming to the Little Court? He is coming to the Little Court because his sister comes here and he decided to check it out.
